Ingredients
½ cup honey
¾ cup caster sugar
3 cups Mandolé Orchard Roasted Almonds
Method

Lightly grease a lamington tray with a little almond oil or olive oil.

Place honey in a saucepan over a low heat and cook for 5 minutes. Add the sugar and continue to cook, stirring until the mixture forms a thick, dark toffee.

Add Mandolé Orchard Roasted Almonds and stir for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat, then pour the mixture into the prepared tray. Spread until it’s even.

Leave to cool for approximately 5 minutes. Whilst still slightly warm, slice the torrone into pieces.

Store in an airtight container for up to two months.
