Tamari Roasted Almonds

Ingredients

500g Mandolé Orchard Natural Almonds

¼ cup tamari

 

Method

1. Preheat oven to 150 ֯C.

2. Place raw almonds on a large baking tray lined with baking paper.

3. Place the almonds into the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

4. Remove almonds from the oven and pour into a large bowl. Pour tamari over the warm almonds. Stir completely and soak in tamari for 20 minutes. Stir 1-2 times over the 20 minutes.

5. Place soaked almonds back on tray lined with baking paper. Bake soaked almonds for another 20 minutes.

6. When you take the almonds out of the oven, they will still be a bit soft but they will firm up as they cool.
