Almond Milk Béchamel

Ingredients

40g butter

40g plain flour

500g Mandolé Orchard Unsweetened Almond Milk

½ tsp salt

2 pinches ground black pepper

2 pinches ground nutmeg (optional)

1 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)

 

Method

1. Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat. Add flour and stir for a few minutes.

2. Gradually add Mandolé Orchard Unsweetened Almond Milk and stir until it boils and thickens then remove from heat.

3. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and parmesan cheese if desired.

I use this béchamel for my homemade lasagna but the options are endless! Tootie x
